Services is pleased to announce the appointment of Darren Price as Chief
Operating Officer, effective May 8, 2023.
As a key member of the CWB Trust Services senior leadership team, Darren will be instrumental as the business transforms and grows to become the best custodian for small and mid sized institutions in Canada.

Darren brings extensive experience in the financial services industry to CWB Trust Services. He joins the team from Freetrade, a UK based mobile investing platform, where he was responsible for establishing Canadian operations, developing the company’s regulatory application, and helping to build a global operations framework. Prior to that, Darren spent 20 years with Odlum Brown Ltd., most recently as Vice President of Finance. He also co-chaired the company’s Operations Leadership Team and was responsible for providing strategic leadership to multiple teams within finance and operations.
As a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Darren enjoys being a partner to the business and believes strongly in collaboration to achieve a common goal. He has completed several courses through the Canadian Securities Institute, including the Canadian Securities Course, Partners Directors and Officers course, and the CFO qualifying exam.
Darren is passionate about corporate culture and supporting communities that we serve both professionally and personally, and is a welcome addition to CWB Trust Services and Team Teal.
